Obviously I don't feel this way entirely as I've made a career in libraries, but I can't help but enjoy Parks and Recreation's deep hate for libraries (it's all satire, folks). Nick Offerman's appearance at ALA in San Francisco is the reason I started watching it via Netflix. As Offerman approached the stage, he made sure we librarians understood the difference between his personality in the television series (Ron Swanson) and his personality in reality. His laugh, however, remains the same for both:
